FALLING ACORNS, MIGHTY OAKS

Celtic Myths Shawl is DONE

This has been a project over two years in the making and boy am I happy to be done with this thing.

The cables are pretty hard to photograph.
It takes up the bench.
Bonus Jack Frost photo.
The only thing I have on the needles now is a Gamekeeper Scarf, so I’m going to return back to knitting that and see if I can get through it.  KnitCompanion, my favorite app, has made this so much easier.  I’d love to do a detailed review on it here on the blog, but I have a feeling that the creator is going to release something new in the new year.  I’m looking forward to it and will likely do a review then.
I’m also looking forward to lunch today with Nichole.  She’s going to be here to eat with me at Don Panchos.  Mama is coming.  We also have to go to Alphabet Soup, a store downtown, because I went yesterday and I was the winner of the door prize.
Btw, in case you can’t tell, I hauled out the Canon 80D for the photos.  Felt good to be behind a real camera.  I tried to get the wireless transfer of photos to work, but didn’t have any luck so ended up plugging the card into the hub to get those read.
