I finished Last Chance U the other night. God, it was so good.
I really enjoy watching the team play, even though I don’t understand football. I really enjoyed the behind the scene stories.
I want to be their counselor, Ms. Wagner. That woman is their hero. Keeping those guys in line is insanity, but she does it so well.
If you haven’t checked out this show, I give it a thumbs up. It’s definitely worth watching. The conversations about the hardships of athletes and how they are coddled in some ways to get the grades needed is also a great talking point. Ms. Wagner is a hero, but without her these kids would be on their own and many would probably sink. While sad, it’s the truth.
