It has been a busy, busy summer. When the summer started I thought I would have time to be bored. That was a lie. Between spending time with family, friends, and the class I am taking this summer I have not had nearly enough time to just “hang out”.
However, I have begun to plan for the new school year, as evidenced by the receipts from my shopping. After having the Erin Condren Teacher Planner in my cart for quite some time, I took the plunge and ordered it today. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on it. I am going to spend the evening with my favorite teacher friend, McHenry. I look forward to seeing what sort of trouble we get into. She’s one of those people that I could go 4 months without seeing, but yet we can just talk like we saw each other yesterday.
I’m going to dive into some of the fresh summer fruit that we have. I’ve spent some time reconnecting to nature recently, especially after seeing a hawk early one morning and then a beautiful white crane that evening. I’m thankful for what Mother Earth has provided us with and I’ve been enjoying the fruit.
