FALLING ACORNS, MIGHTY OAKS

When your best friend is an unconventional model

I have been blessed with Ashley D., Ashley S., Vic, and Nichole as my four best friends.  This weekend I spent almost every waking hour with Ashley S., my unconventional model.

Selfie by Ashley with my 80D (the flip out screen is nice for this purpose).
One of her favorite spots.
In case you can’t tell, the blue lipstick is why I’m calling her unconventional. I couldn’t imagine her any other way, however.
Absolute favorite, even though looking at it still gives me a heart attack because that’s one helluva drop.
My favorite.
We have a series of photos of the other person taking a photo. Life behind the lens, eh?

Ashley is soon headed back home to Nevada, where I will miss her greatly.  She’s been my best friend in Staunton and kept me from driving my roommate insane.  She’s been my go to gal for going out to eat, riding around, and driving me somewhere when I just don’t feel like it.

I’m incredibly thankful that she has been here with me the past few years.  I am hoping I can manage to keep her in line from afar.
